FIVE YEARS PLAN

Our dream is to conduct sound and feasible welfare and development programs at remote, far -flung humanity, to join the mission to ensure India as Developed country. With this dream we have started this organization. More than half of the area of Jharkhand is covered with the forest. During survey in different districts, towns and villages we found that there is huge gap between rural and urban part. At one side urban area is developed in every aspect like good educational institutions, market, road, telephone facilities etc. whereas on other side in rural area there is no school to study, no market to fulfill the daily requirements, no road to walk, no medium to talk etc. People in rural part are even not aware about their rights, basic facilities what the government and local administration is providing to them. We feel that awareness is required among them. Awareness programs, camps etc from the government side are not enough. Thus we have decided to open this organization which will conduct camps, different awareness related programs in far flung rural areas where government ignore it completely. We have started from the Koderma district. This is less dense populated backward district. As per 2001 census report breakup of total population and literacy rate are shown in the graph below. We can make out from the report that around 90% of total population in koderma is lying in villages. That is more than the nation average. And in that respect literacy rate is negligible. So, to EDUCATE them is our prime goal. Illiterate people are victims of many other problems like poor health, unemployment, unaware about their rights, lack of knowledge about neatness and cleanness, to drink clean water, child labor, unnecessary indulge themselves in fighting etc.
To tackle these problems in Koderma and in entire state we have first five years of plan.

AGANWARI TRAINING CENTER

Aganwari Training center for Aganwari Workers (Saihaka) and Helpers (Seveka) is opened on 13th June 2008 at Samanway Sansthan. This is first training center of this kind in the district. We run training center in a proper way with appropriate planning. Till now thirteen batches of Seveka and six of Saihaka have completed the training successfully. In the year 2009-10 three batches of saihaka and six batches of Seveka have completed the training programme. Training pattern for Seveka and Saihaka are different. Numbers of days allotted

for training of Saihaka and Seveka in the year 2009-10 are 32 and 8 days respectively earlier it were 30 and 8 days respectively. To impart training a team of more than 12 members in regular and part-time category is involved directly and indirectly. We serve two times meals and a morning breakfast daily. We always ensure that meals are nutritious and seasonal. For entertainment purpose we have both outdoor & indoor games facilities at campus like Badminton, Volleyball, Carom board, Ludo, Chess etc. Apart from regular training extra circular activities like singing, dancing, painting competitions are organized in every batch. We celebrate festival, picnic together.

What is ICDS Program?

The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) program is a globally recognized community based early child care program, which addresses the basic interrelated needs of young children, expectant and nursing mothers and adolescent girls-across the lifecycle, in a holistic manner. It is a powerful instrument for ensuring equality of opportunity to present and future generations of the disadvantaged –by breaking an intergenerational cycle of multiple deprivations-under nutrition, illiteracy, gender and other forms of discrimination and poverty. Today, ICDS with thirty years of rich experience has emerged not only as a program for children with holistic approach, but is a means of protecting their rights to survival, growth, development and early learning in protective environment.

2 REMAND HOME

In simple and straight words Remand Home is nothing but a
prison for the children having ages below 18 years. But unlike
prison here children get right environment and approach to
change themselves in the initial stages of life so that at latter
stage they can compete with other normal people.
Due to bad company and bad environment children indulge in
wrong doing like pick-pocketing, robbery etc. Once they
caught raid handed they put in the Remand Home.
In India Remand Homes are run by government organizations.
But Jharkhand is the second state after Delhi where Remand
Home will be completely handled by N.G.O under the
guidelines and supervision of State Government. We are
happy to announce that we have been shortlisted for the
project to run this in Koderma district of Jharkhand state.

 3 OLD AGE HOME:

Realizing the significance of rapid demographic changes in
India in favor of increasing number and proportion of persons
above the age of 60, a slow but marked withdrawal of family
support due to weakening of joint family ties and migration of
children to cities and developed regions and special biological,
socio-economic and emotional needs of old age, the

Samanway Sansthan has started giving assistance to age old
people.
